Black Glass Standards

Highly polished black glass is useful as a standard for gloss, low reflectance in directional/directional geometry, and also establishing the efficiency of the ‘sphere zero’ in specular excluded geometry using an integrating sphere.  Avian Technologies’ black glass standard consists of Schott NG-1 glass in a black Delrin holder.
